Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust in Torquay is seeking an Ophthalmic Healthcare Support Worker (Band 3) to join the eye theatre team. You will assist in peri-operative care, support planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care, working with qualified staff to maintain high standards.

You will need 12 months hospital experience and NVQ level 2, with a development pathway to Band 2 if needed, and you will supervise junior colleagues while delivering high quality, patient-centred

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification is required.
• Twelve months hospital environment experience expected.
• Development path to Band 2 if competencies are not yet met.
