Network Rail is hiring an operative to support daily maintenance across the rail network. The role involves working outdoors in a small team to keep passengers and freight moving safely and smoothly.

You will be trained to work safely on-site, with a focus on transferable skills and the ability to collaborate across teams. This is a full-time position with a focus on reliability, safety, and contributing to a well-functioning rail system.

• Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate safe working practices and adherence to procedures.

A critical part of the work we do is the daily upkeep of the rail network. As an operative you'll work outdoors in a small team, supporting essential maintenance to keep the railway running safely and smoothly for passengers and freight users.

Our operative community comes from a variety of different backgrounds, and this might be the first time that you've even considered a career in rail. This is a full time role.

Salary -£32,639 plus inner London allowance
