PROPER SNACKS, the home of PROPER and Eat Real, is seeking an Operations Trainer to inspire and develop our production teams across the factory floor, classroom, and behind the scenes. You’ll translate complex processes into engaging learning, covering machinery operation, safety, onboarding and quality standards.

You’ll collaborate with the Learning & Development team to continually improve training effectiveness, design materials and ensure sessions align with health, safety and quality

Formación

• Proven experience delivering training in a manufacturing or operational environment.
• Strong background in hands-on training, machinery operation and safety.
• Experience working within an L&D function or training team.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver hands-on training on the factory floor, building confidence in machinery operation and production processes.
• Lead engaging classroom sessions on SOPs, safety and compliance, including HACCP and BRC standards.
• Coach and mentor team members in real time, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Design and improve training materials, including e-learning modules, SOPs and presentations.
• Support training coordination by scheduling sessions, maintaining records and tracking certifications through the LMS.
• Collaborate with the L&D Manager and Coordinator to align training with business goals and improve effectiveness.
• Support onboarding so new starters feel confident and part of the team.

As our Operations Trainer, you'll inspire, coach and develop our production teams, turning complex processes into engaging, hands-on learning and helping people feel confident, capable and proud of what they do.
You'll be at the heart of our factory, on the shop floor, in the classroom and behind the scenes designing learning that sticks. From machinery operation and production processes to safety, compliance and onboarding, your work will help our teams perform at their best while upholding high standards.
Working closely with our Learning & Development team, you'll continuously improve how we train, coach and develop our people, helping us grow stronger, smarter and safer every day.

What you'll be doing

• Deliver hands-on training on the factory floor, building confidence in machinery operation and production processes.
• Lead engaging classroom sessions on standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety and compliance, including HACCP and BRC standards, ensuring training aligns with health & safety, food safety and quality requirements.
• Coach and mentor team members in real time, monitor progress, assess performance and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Design and improve training materials, including e-learning modules, SOPs and presentations.
• Support training coordination by scheduling sessions, maintaining records and tracking certifications through the learning management system (LMS).
• Collaborate with the L&D Manager and Coordinator to align training with business goals, gather feedback and continuously improve training effectiveness.
• Support onboarding so new starters feel confident, capable and part of the team from day one.

• Proven experience delivering training in a manufacturing or operational environment.
• A strong background in hands-on training, particularly machinery, production processes and safety.
• Experience working within an L&D function or training team.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to engage people at all levels.
• The ability to simplify complex processes into clear, actionable learning.
• Strong organisational skills and experience using Microsoft Office and learning management systems.
• The ability to identify learning gaps and tailor training to individual needs.
