Description

As an Operations Team Leader, you’ll be part of a high-performing in-market team supporting one of our largest global clients. You will oversee the operational delivery of high-quality, profitable production and marketing execution, ensuring projects run smoothly from briefing through to final delivery.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring transparency, efficiency, and quality across marketing investments — particularly within retail, shopper, and trade activation. This role is hands‑on, solution‑focused, and highly collaborative, working closely with client services, creative, strategy, and production specialists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all in-market operational and production delivery, ensuring compliance with core processes including open orders, budget tracking, actualisation, and reporting.
  • Manage high-value, high-complexity, or at‑risk projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to the expected quality standards.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for operational and production issues, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to resolve challenges efficiently.
  • Coach, mentor, and upskill Senior Account Managers and Account Managers to build operational and production expertise.
  • Monitor team performance and uphold quality standards; lead reviews and manage NCRs (Non‑Conformance Reports) or other quality issues.
  • Lead supplier and internal negotiations to optimise timelines, cost, and quality, embedding sustainable and value‑engineered solutions.
  • Work closely with Client Services and the Account Director to ensure smooth integration of operations with campaign planning and client priorities.
  • Champion a culture of collaboration, operational discipline, and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, process, and innovation.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in operations or production management, ideally in retail, shopper, or trade channels.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience leading teams and managing client relationships.
  • Proven track record delivering complex, high-value operational or production projects.
  • Excellent communication skills; fluent in English and the local market language.
  • Strong negotiation, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Collaborative and able to build strong relationships across teams and clients.
  • Strategic thinker, balancing immediate priorities with long‑term objectives.
  • Solutions‑oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Resilient, calm under pressure, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Tech‑savvy, capable of using tools and systems to optimise workflows.
  • In‑market presence required; day‑to‑day work from client office.
