Portakabin Ltd is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our team in Bordon, delivering day-to-day site and yard activities while ensuring safe practices, quality standards and on-time delivery.

You will plan and allocate work to operatives, supervise on site and in the yard, escalate issues when needed and drive continuous improvement. We offer contributory pension, health benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in a supervisor role.
• Solid experience of working in a site or yard environment, with an understanding of safe and efficient operational practices.
• Ability to plan and allocate work, clearly communicating tasks and expectations to operatives.
• Skilled in identifying day-to-day operational challenges and applying practical problem-solving.
• Confident in seeking guidance and escalating issues appropriately for approval or resolution.
• Good communication skills, able to build effective working relationships with colleagues.

Responsabilités

• Plan and allocate day-to-day work to operatives ensuring safe practices, efficient operations and cost-effective use of resources.
• Ensure compliance with company safety, environmental and quality standards, including adherence to refurbishment times and guides.
• Promote health, safety and environmental standards, engaging operatives in safe working practices and company initiatives.
• Supervise operatives on site and in the yard, providing guidance and support to maintain high standards of performance.
• Escalate operational challenges or resource issues to the relevant stakeholders, providing clear information to aid resolution.
• Seek approval for changes to standard operating procedures and ensure instructions are followed consistently.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback and supporting the adoption of best practice.
