Job Title: Night Operations Lead

Location: Sevenoaks, TN14

Type: Permanent

Salary: £36.5kpa per annum plus excellent company benefits

Workchain is currently seeking a Night Operations Lead for our client in Sevenoaks. In this role you will manage a small team and be fully responsible for all activities and compliance on site during your shift, reporting directly to the transport and distribution centre manager and producing accurate shift reports and handovers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all teams manage stock allocation and deliver 100% fulfilment to clients
  • Report near‑miss and dispensing incidents in line with regulations to internal departments
  • Support internal queries, ensuring resolution before daily cut‑offs and return to the dispensing process
  • Track, monitor and manage individuals against clear KPIs and document all people entering and leaving the site
  • Document any abnormalities related to stock
  • Report any adverse events during driver routes and deliveries
  • Ensure SOPs are reviewed in line with company time frames and document all people entering and leaving the site
  • Assist with loading and unloading night trunks and HGVs, including scanning and sortation of all medication and ancillary items
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
  • Proven experience managing a team to meet company and department KPIs
  • Experienced in managing staff in line with company and regulatory policies and procedures
  • Excellent team‑management skills, capable of building, developing and motivating a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good understanding of IT and relevant packages
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ideal candidates have strong client‑service experience, a full UK driving licence, and can adhere to (CQC / GDP / NMC / GPHC / ICO) standards; familiarity with pharmacy regulatory requirements is preferable; full training will be provided

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 10:00 pm to 6:00 am
