About the Role

As Operations Supervisor, you’ll work closely with the Director of Operations to coordinate and oversee a wide range of site-based services. You’ll be the go-to person for maintenance issues, supplier coordination, team support, and health & safety – keeping things running behind the scenes so others can deliver frontline support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily delivery of site operations across housekeeping, maintenance, and general facilities.
  • Support and supervise operations staff, ensuring teams are equipped, trained, and resourced.
  • Carry out regular site checks and ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Fire Safety regulations.
  • Act as a liaison for contractors and service providers, managing maintenance schedules and service level agreements.
  • Monitor and maintain standards across operational areas, identifying and implementing improvements.
  • Manage stock control, procurement, and departmental budgets in line with internal processes.
  • Assist in producing monthly reporting data and performance updates.

  • Confident communicator who can work well with staff, volunteers, and external contractors.
  • Basic knowledge of Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and compliance procedures (training can be provided).
  • Practical skills or background in site maintenance, caretaking, or logistics would be an advantage.
