Operations Supervisor
About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll be responsiblesiwaju managing teams, resources and schedules to deliver efficient street cleansing and waste collection services. You’ll ensure that all operations run smoothly, meet contractual standards and uphold Biffa’s high standards of safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan & Organise: Coordinate daily operations, crew deployment and allocate vehicles, equipment and materials to meet service requirements.
  • Resource Scheduling: Maintain effective staffing, vehicle and equipment schedules понимая operational efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Manage inductions, attendance and performance, providing coaching and support in lineिजन company policies.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure accurate completion of reports, timesheets and schedules, maintaining full compliance with contract and company standards.
  • Health & Safety: Promote a strong safety culture, enforce procedures and take prompt action on unsafe practices or incidents.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain positive working Tcx relationships with Local Authorities and partners, representing Biffa professionally at meetings.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery, support business objectives and complete all required training.
