Operations Supervisor – Night Shift
Ingram Content Group UK Ltd, a leader in on‑demand print and distribution services for books, is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all production activities during the night shift.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead Production Associates, ensuring optimal performance, productivity, and adherence to company policies.
  • Oversee process control and quality monitoring, identifying deviations and taking corrective action.
  • Ensure production flow meets turnaround time (TAT) objectives.
  • Maintain shift production reports, downtime logs, and quality control documentation, and communicate key information during handovers.
  • Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and leading regular safety audits.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Assist in training new associates and cross‑training team members.
  • Act as On‑Site Manager (LSI) in the absence of the manufacturing shift manager.
  • Report accidents or potential hazards to the Health and Safety team immediately.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years manufacturing experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing process control and production metrics.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, resolve conflicts, and meet production deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in production management software, Microsoft Office, and quality control systems.
  • GCSEs or equivalent education.
  • Lean manufacturing, problem‑solving and continual process improvement experience.
Physical Demands
  • Walk and stand continuously during the shift.
  • Lifts/carries, pushes/pulls, grips/grasps within full range of motion.
  • Can bend, kneel, squat, twist, turn, and reach above shoulder height.
  • Works a 12‑hour shift as required.
