Purpose of Role

Cash Administrator works as part of a team responsible for the administration of cash for a number of clients.

Major Responsibilities
Role Specifics
  • Action and oversee cash administration forecasting activities and cash sweeping activities in line with client directions and deadlines in accordance with the agreed processes.
  • Deal placement of cash sweep subscription / redemptions.
  • Providing support with complex queries and time critical situations surrounding cash administration activities.
  • Coach / mentor Associate 1 team members as required.
  • Checking as appropriate the work of other team members.
  • Be actively involved in ad‑hoc projects and departmental initiatives.
  • Actively seek out potential enhancements to the operation of the team; document and raise these to the FLM, then track to completion.
  • Undertake appropriate housekeeping duties including filing and operation of clean‑desk policy and adhere to all departmental and companywide procedural guidelines such as timekeeping, dress, overtime, holiday cover.

  • Display a culture of individual ownership of tasks to embed a clear individual sense of accountability in performing the role.
  • Ensure that the highest level of the Code of Conduct is displayed in your behaviour.
  • Provide appropriate management information as required to support business unit decision making.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly.

  • Good understanding of investment operations and cross‑functional relationships such as trading, custody, accounting, performance, compliance.
  • Good knowledge of global custody and/or accounting principles.
  • Proven record of service delivery to external and/or internal parties.
  • Demonstrated ability to support management within the team on a wide range of tasks.
