Halma plc in Havant is seeking an Operations Project Engineer to drive automation and digital tool adoption across manufacturing sites. You will own project scope, manage budgets and schedules, and partner with suppliers to deliver solutions that improve efficiency and quality.

In this role you will lead major operations initiatives end-to-end, collaborate with stakeholders, and travel as required. Hybrid working is available with a competitive benefits package.

As we continue to automate our existing products you will need to apply lessoned learned and knowledge gained to both these projects and to the development of our future product ranges. You will be key a part of the team advising on mechanical design nuances and electronic component layout to best optimise the final design for automated assembly.Collaborating with stakeholders throughout Apollo you will identify opportunities for automation, develop the business cases and present them to the Board for approval. You will own the entire life cycle of the project from opportunity development and vendor selection through to installation and handover to our Shopfloor teams.You will work closely with the Test Solutions team, who will provide the expertise required to automate the testing of our products broadening your knowledge base. In return you will help them to grow by passing on your project management experience and understanding of how working with vendors can allow us to magnify the impact we can have on the business when delivering automation.Within this role there is an expectation of travel, staying away from home during the working week.
