This role involves ensuring health & safety compliance, developing operational procedures, and implementing the 5S methodology. The ideal candidate has proven operations management experience and strong organizational skills. This position is fully onsite in Crewe with a competitive pay rate of £31.36ph.

About the Role

Are you ready to drive innovation in the automotive industry? Adecco working in partnership with Bentley Motors are searching for a dynamic Operations Process Lead to join their Connected Car R&D portfolio planning team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone enthusiastic about connected car technology and eager to shape the future of vehicle features and customer experiences.

Pay Rate: £31.36ph PAYE
End Date: 10/04/2026 + possible extensions
Working Pattern: Fully Onsite - Crewe Pyms Lane 37 hours per week - Bentley Flex time (phone number removed) hours around this
Start date: January 2026
Driving Licence required: Yes

Key Responsibilities

Health & Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure all operations align with current health and safety legislation.
  • Foster a strong safety culture through effective training, regular audits, and initiative-taking risk management.

Process & Procedures:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust operational processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and minimize waste.

5S Implementation:

  • Champion the 5S methodology (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) throughout all operational areas to promote a clean, organized, and efficient workplace.

Tooling Management:

  • Oversee tooling requirements, ensuring availability, maintenance, and calibration to support production and operational needs.

Asset Register Control:

  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date asset register, tracking equipment lifecycle, maintenance schedules, and compliance documentation.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Proven experience in operations management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and best practices.
  • Familiarity with lean principles and 5S methodology.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in asset management systems and tooling control.
