Housing Operations Manager (Specialised Supported Housing)

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Housing Operations Manager to lead our operational team and deliver high-quality, tenant-focused services across our supported housing stock. This role is pivotal in ensuring that vulnerable tenants, including those with learning disabilities, Autism, physical disabilities, or mental health challenges, receive the support and housing services they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a small operational team, providing guidance, motivation, and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Oversee tenancy management, allocations, repairs, and maintenance services, ensuring compliance with social housing regulations, safeguarding policies, and operational standards.
  • Manage budgets effectively, balancing financial objectives with the needs of tenants and operational priorities.
  • Drive service improvements by analysing tenant feedback, monitoring performance, and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Foster a positive team culture that encourages accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Represent the organisation externally, building strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and regulators.
About You:
  • Significant experience in housing operations, tenancy management, or supported housing services.
  • Strong knowledge of social housing legislation, Landlord & Tenant Law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, capable of building effective relationships at all levels.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and confident in making decisions and managing complex situations.
  • Full driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle for work purposes.
