Job description

Take the reins of a high-volume logistics operation and lead it to the next level. This is a senior leadership role at the heart of a fast-moving multi-drop / pallet network environment — where exceptional service, operational precision, and commercial results matter every single day.

As Network Operations Manager, you will own the performance, efficiency, and compliance of a key logistics site. Working at both strategic and hands‑on levels, you'll lead high-performing teams, optimise processes, and ensure delivery excellence across the network.

This is a role for an empowered decision-maker — someone who thrives under pressure, understands cost control and service delivery, and knows how to lead people through continuous improvement in an operationally demanding environment.

What You'll Lead & Deliver
  • Full accountability for operational & financial performance of a network site
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a transport and warehouse team to deliver excellence
  • Ensure service levels, OTIF performance, and customer SLAs are consistently achieved
  • Drive operational efficiencies, productivity improvements, and route optimisation
  • Maintain strict compliance with transport legislation, safety, and audit standards
  • Take ownership of cost control, budgeting, resourcing, and asset utilisation
  • Lead recruitment, training, succession planning, and colleague development
  • Build and enhance strong internal and customer relationships
  • Provide accurate performance reporting & analysis to senior leadership
  • Champion a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
What You'll Bring
  • Proven leadership experience within multi-drop / pallet-network / transport operations
  • Confidence managing high-volume logistics environments with time‑critical demands
  • Strong commercial focus — able to manage cost, performance, and profitability
  • Exceptional people leadership, coaching, and development skills
  • Solid knowledge of transport legislation, safety standards & compliance frameworks
  • Data‑driven mindset and strong reporting/analytical ability
  • Ability to stay calm, decisive, and solutions‑focused in fast‑paced environments
  • CPC qualification beneficial but not essential

If you're a confident logistics leader ready to shape the success of a growing network operation — we want to hear from you.
