Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced Operations Manager to join our Depot management team.

This role involves overseeing the smooth operation of the depot, ensuring excellent customer service and achieving objectives related to Cost, Health & Safety, Security, Productivity, and Transport.

You will also be responsible for:

• Recruiting, developing, and retaining staff, ensuring compliance and Employee Relations processes are followed
• Managing P&L through planning and reporting
• Enhancing operational support with innovative working methods

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

• Extensive experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution
• Ability to manage fast-paced operations and motivate high-performing teams
• Performance monitoring and data analysis skills to drive improvements and change
• Excellent communication skills with strategic influence

• Availability to work any 5 shifts, including weekends, as depots operate 365 days a year
• A full UK driving license
