Role: Operations Manager – (up to 2.5 days per week)

KST is recruiting for a new part-time Operations Manager to help lead KST into the next stage of its development. We are seeking a highly organised, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage operations and external communications across its diverse aspects. The responsibilities and role can be tailored to the strengths and skills of the successful applicant, with the level of responsibility depending on experience and suitability. The key responsibilities include:

  • Communications and Marketing: Implement effective communications with individuals and groups external to the organisation. Implement key marketing strategies including social media.
  • Event Management: Plan and manage operational aspects of KST teaching weekends and short courses. Provide operational support for events such as Graduation and taster events.
  • Administration: Provide administrative support to the Principal and Academic Dean, Track teams and the KST Exec. Undertake finance administration including banking and bookkeeping.
  • Admissions: Manage the annual admissions process, including student applications and finance arrangements.
  • General: Support students in their spiritual life through their studies, and support the spiritual life of the college.

In addition to the responsibilities above, the successful candidate will be a good organiser and communicator, able to work remotely with minimal supervision and able to meet deadlines. Candidates should have a good GCSE pass (or equivalent) in Maths and English. Training will be provided on specific software packages including our online learning platform (Moodle). Competent use of Microsoft Office is required. The successful candidate must have a permit to work in the UK.

The role will normally be home-based, with travel to meetings as necessary. Exact hours and days of work are negotiable, but assumed to be during normal weekday hours. Attendance at each KST teaching weekend is required as part of the role.
