Operations Manager (Plant Nursery)

Woking (Commutable from: Staines-upon-Thames, Woking, Weybridge, Chertsey, Epsom, Guildford, Slough, Bracknell)

Are you an Operations Manager with Horticulture knowledge looking for a key role where you will have strong influence and decision-making power across the branch? Do you have experience running day-to-day plant nursery / garden centre operations and leading a team?

This is a permanent position with a well-established, family-feel employer, offering stability and recognition alongside real ownership of operations. You'll be trusted to run the site, shape standards, and drive performance without the red tape of an overly corporate environment.

The business has been established for decades and operates multiple nurseries, supplying plants to support a wider contracting operation while also servicing retail customers. They're doing well, growth is firmly on the cards, and they're continuing to invest in people and benefits.

You’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, managing staff, rosters, meetings, vehicles, infrastructure/assets, and working closely with buying and marketing while focusing on increasing profits.
