Hatzola Northwest is a volunteer-led emergency ambulance service serving the North-West London community. We work in partnership with other healthcare professionals to deliver fast, high-quality care.

The Operations Manager plays a key role in ensuring that everything runs smoothly day-to-day, supporting our the responders, dispatchers, our office, the fleet of 11 vehicles, and helping the organisation stay compliant and well-organised.

Main Responsibilities
Leadership & Communication
  • Support responders, dispatchers and staff in their roles
  • Keep everyone informed with clear updates, and guidance
  • Help deliver projects, events, and improvements across the organisation
  • Be a first point of contact for general member queries or concerns
Operations & Compliance
  • Make sure we meet all legal, health & safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee safeguarding procedures and respond to any concerns appropriately
HR & Governance
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training
  • Help staff and volunteers feel recognised and supported
  • Assist with meetings and reports for Trustees and the Committee
  • Work with the finance team to monitor budgets and spending
  • Support fundraising activities, events and donor relationships
  • Oversee vehicles, medical stock, radios, and digital systems
  • Ensure all operational tools and platforms continue to run effectively
