Operations Manager

Contract until the end of the year

£250-£300 per day

Outside IR35

4 days per week in the office in London

This growing consultancy helps ambitious businesses run smarter — combining sharp strategy with practical delivery. They’re scaling quickly, building new services, and looking for someone who can help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. They’re after an Operations Lead to take charge of how the business operates day to day. You’ll streamline processes, drive efficiency, and work closely with senior leadership to support the company’s next phase of growth.

It’s a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys improving how things work, spotting what needs fixing, and putting better systems in place.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations and implement scalable processes.
  • Lead business improvement projects and change initiatives.
  • Manage compliance, data protection and internal governance.
  • Support on budgeting, reporting and financial planning.
  • Build strong supplier relationships and optimise internal systems.
  • Partner with leadership on strategic planning and key business projects.
Skills Needed
  • Solid experience in business operations or project delivery.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Experience managing compliance and process improvement.
  • Confident leading new systems or operational rollouts.

Experience with tools like Xero or HubSpot would help, but attitude and ownership are what matter most — they’re after someone who takes initiative and gets things done.
