Exciting Opportunity for an Operations Manager

We have an excellent opportunity for an Operations Manager to join a well-established business that is experiencing an exciting period of growth.

Role Overview

As the Operations Manager, you will report directly to the General Manager and be responsible for all factory operations and manufacturing teams across production, engineering, and hygiene.

This role focuses on both people and processes. You will need to be an influential leader, providing mentorship and coaching to the team where necessary, while also building and developing a high-performing operations team.

Responsibilities

This position requires strong shop floor leadership; you must be present on the shop floor and lead from the front. From a process standpoint, you will need to ensure that strategic processes are in place and that all KPIs, including Quality, Health & Safety, Yield, and Throughput, are achieved.

You will be an advocate for continuous improvement and play an instrumental role in driving the Operational Excellence (OpEx) agenda across the site.

The Operations Manager will be part of the senior leadership team, and you will need to have the commercial capability and confidence in presenting ideas, findings, plans, and results to the wider group!

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will be a seasoned manufacturing manager with tons of operations leadership experience within the FMCG sector. You must be influential, pragmatic, and possess the gravitas necessary to make this role a success.
