Job summary

MTR Partnership is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee our Fit-Out Division. You will work alongside a Commercial Lead, taking operational responsibility and guiding 2-3 Contracts Managers delivering projects across the UK.

The role balances head office work with site visits, and you will manage your own diary. Applicants should have experience as an Operations Manager or Senior Contracts Manager on fit-out schemes and be prepared to travel nationwide from a base in Greater Manchester.

The Company:

We are working with a leading main contractor who typically deliver projects valued up to £5 Million for a variety of blue-chip clients.

They have excellent relationships with their clients that means the majority of their work is repeat, negotiated business.

They are cash rich, often make double digit margins on their projects, have an excellent supply chain who they pay promptly and treat with respect (we know this from our own experience of working with them!), staff turnover is also very low.

The Role:

They are looking to appoint an Operations Manager to oversee their Fit-Out Division.

You’ll work alongside a Commercial Lead, taking operational responsibility, managing 2-3 Contracts Managers delivering projects across the UK.

The role will be split between their head office and visits to sites/meetings when required.

You will be responsible for managing your own diary.

You:

They are looking to meet with individuals who have worked as an Operations Manager or Senior Contracts Manager on fit out schemes.

You will be based in or able to travel to Greater Manchester on a daily basis.

You’ll need to be prepared to travel and visits sites nationwide.
