Ready to take the bull by the horns and create something new? Were looking for an Operations Manager who wants to lead from the front, drive improvement, and shape a high-performance culture within a growing manufacturing/engineering environment.

This Operations Manager role is ideal for someone who thrives on building strong teams, improving processes, and delivering exceptional operational results.

The Role

As Operations Manager, youll oversee daily production operations, leading a team of around 40 across build, quality, logistics and supply chain. Youll turn business goals into clear plans, keep performance on track, and champion continuous improvement from the shop floor up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach and motivate the production team to deliver quality, efficiency and on:time output
  • Plan and manage production schedules and resources
  • Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor KPIs including quality, output, efficiency and downtime
  • Strengthen communication between shop floor and senior leadership
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and development of new team members
  • Improve process consistency, documentation and material flow
  • Lead root:cause investigations and corrective actions
About You
  • Experienced Operations/Production Manager from manufacturing or engineering
  • Strong people leadership and communication skills
  • Confident on the shop floor with a hands:on, solutions:focused approach
  • Experience with MRP/ERP, production planning and workflow optimisation
  • Passionate about improving culture, systems and performance
  • A degree is beneficial but not essential if you bring strong practical experience.
