Think Selection is delighted to be recruiting an Operations Manager for a highly regarded and successful independent London-based publishing company.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established company at an exciting point of growth, with an expanding publishing programme and a growing range of services for publishing clients. The Operations Manager will be central to the smooth running of the company, with a broad remit covering operations, HR administration and some financial coordination.
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations, ensuring systems and processes are efficient and well organised. This includes HR administration such as contracts, onboarding, payroll coordination and pensions, as well as premises, IT, software subscriptions and compliance. You’ll also coordinate financial administration, including invoices, payment schedules and communication with the company’s bookkeepers and accountants.
We’re looking for someone with solid operations experience who is highly organised, practical and confident dealing with a broad range of responsibilities. You could come from publishing, media, the arts or another small or medium-sized company where you have gained exposure to HR and operational administration.
The company has a friendly, collaborative culture and this position offers considerable scope for someone who enjoys improving processes, solving problems and becoming an important part of the day-to-day operation.
The position is based in West London with a hybrid working pattern of three days per week in the office. The salary is up to £45,000 depending on experience, plus company benefits.
