Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Operations Manager to oversee regional field operations across the South West. Based primarily in our North Cornwall office, this position will coordinate installation teams and ensure smooth delivery of domestic construction and retrofit projects.

This role combines operational leadership, customer engagement, and logistical oversight to ensure projects run efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. Some travel to customer sites will be required. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership, coordination and support of the field-based installation teams.
  • Oversee project delivery, scheduling, resource planning, and on-site execution to ensure all projects are completed on time, within scope, and to quality expectations.
  • Lead daily and weekly operational planning and logistics to maximise productivity and minimise delays.
  • Maintain compliance & safety, adhering to industry regulations, health and safety legislation, and internal operating procedures.
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges, implementing process for continuous improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, resolving issues, providing updates, and ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience.
  • Provide regular performance updates and operational reports to senior management.
About You
  • Proven background in managing operations within domestic construction, social housing, building/property services, or retrofit sectors is essential—knowledge of renewable energy solutions would be an advantage.
  • Experience coordinating field-based teams, with strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Sound understanding of compliance and health & safety processes.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Clear, confident communication skills with a customer-first approach.
  • Competent in using MS Office and project management software.
  • Full UK driving licence.
