Operations Manager – Mercure Dartford Brands Hatch Hotel & Spa

Location : Dartford, Kent

Contract Type : Full-time

This role is all about leading from the front. You’ll be on the floor, setting the pace, solving problems, and inspiring your team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Key Responsibilities
  • Support the General Manager in all aspects of hotel operations
  • Champion guest satisfaction and lead by example in service delivery
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team across departments
  • Drive profitability and operational efficiency in line with brand standards
  • Oversee Food & Beverage operations, ensuring smooth service and compliance
  • Manage room inventory, guest check-ins / outs, and front office performance
  • Maintain health & safety, food safety, and licensing compliance
  • Promote the Mercure brand and Accor Live Limitless loyalty programme
  • Collaborate with spa and leisure teams to enhance guest experience
  • Lead operational delivery for events, conferences, and race-day bookings
Qualifications

What We’re Looking For :

  • Minimum 2 years hotel management or operations management experience
  • Proven team leadership and people development skills
  • Strong F&B background with hands‑on operational knowledge
  • Experience with property management systems (Opera Cloud preferred)
  • Familiarity with POS systems (Micros or similar)
  • Understanding of food safety, licensing, and brand compliance
  • Passion for hospitality and guest‑first mindset
