Hours: 37.5 contracted hours per week

Salary: £44,040.57 per annum

About the Role

Advance is a highly reputable charitable organisation specialising in learning disabilities and mental health throughout the UK, and we are excited to recruit an enthusiastic and inspiring Operations Manager to support and lead a team of Support Managers and Support Workers across Worcestershire, Warwickshire, and Northamptonshire. As Operations Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of support to individuals, empowering them to live their best lives.

We provide a range of services for adults with learning disabilities, autism and/or mental health needs, giving a unique opportunity to empower service users.

The successful applicant will be the CQC registered manager for the delivery of regulated activities.

About You
  • Inspirational leader and role model for outstanding, personalised support, with a passion for exceeding internal quality standards and those of regulators.
  • Owns the quality and compliance of services, using meaningful audits and quality checks to identify improvements and ensure actions are followed through.
  • Has a hands‑on approach, is visible within services and approachable to all team members.
  • Leads a culture of equality, diversity, inclusion and flexible working where everyone can thrive and contribute.
  • Works to protect individuals’ right to live safely, free from abuse and neglect in line with Advance and local Safeguarding Adults policies.
  • Develops and models excellent relationships and collaboration with external stakeholders—including commissioners, individuals’ circles of support and regulators—ensuring Advance has a highly regarded reputation.
Qualifications
  • Operational experience of Health and Social Care, with a record of leading and managing in the sector.
  • Level 5 or equivalent professional/management qualification, or commitment to undertake it.
  • Experience of budget management.
  • Experience as a CQC registered manager or involvement in regulatory inspections.
  • Experience with ICT systems and equipment, including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle.
