Job summary

VIVO Defence Services on-site role at Cawdor Barracks, Haverfordwest requires an experienced hard FM maintenance manager to oversee reactive and planned maintenance, including billable works, ensuring safety and First Time Fix standards.

You will supervise PPMs and reactive maintenance, provide technical support to DIO and HoE reps, review inspection reports, and raise remedial tasks. A full UK driving licence and SC clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Experienced hard FM maintenance manager from a planned/reactive maintenance background.
• Experience managing KPIs, reporting, and IOSH knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to pass SC Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery and assurance of reactive and programmed maintenance and billable works on site.
• Oversee PPMs, Reactive & Response maintenance to meet KPIs and First Time Fix requirements.
• Provide technical support and advice to DIO and HoE representatives; review inspection reports and raise remedial tasks and SONs.
• Identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption and initiate billable works; manage FGas and waste compliance.
• Support the Line Manager and act as single point of contact to resolve end user issues.
• Lead project management of high volume, low value billable works on site.

Salary: £40,000-£42,000

Reporting to the Built Estate Manager, this role will require you to manage the delivery and assurance of all reactive and programmed maintenance, and Billable Works on site, ensuring that all Health & Safety requirements are met.

This role will see you oversee the delivery of PPM’s, Reactive & Response maintenance on the Establishment to ensure Key Performance indicators are met and tasks are completed to a standard that meets the contractual ‘First Time Fix’ requirements, undertake programmed maintenance inspections and assurance activities, provide technical support and advice as required to DIO and HoE representatives and review all Inspection Reports and certification raising the necessary Remedial tasking and SONs for work.

You will also work closely with Mobile APs to ensure that all applicable works conform to the requirements of JSP 375, identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption on site and initiate Billable Works as appropriate by the raising of Statements of Need, manage FGas and waste compliance within the establishment, support the Line Manager in providing optimal solutions to customer requirements including acting as single point of contact to resolve end user issues, and ensure that all complaints are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.

A large part of the role will be the project management of high volume low value billable works on site, so experience in this area is crucial.

What You Need To Do The Job

First and foremost, you should be an experienced hard FM maintenance manager from a planned/reactive maintenance background, with experience of managing high volume, low value projects.

Technical qualifications such as Mechanical/Electrical Engineering would be an advantage, but are not essential.

It is more important that you are a competent people manager, from a planned/reactive maintenance background with experience of managing KPIs, reporting, and IOSH knowledge.

You must hold a full UK driving licence to be considered for this role, as well as be able to pass SC Clearance. A pool vehicle is available for shared use on site.
