We’re looking for an Operations Manager to join the Site Leadership Team at our innovative Belfast bakery – a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG environment where you’ll have the chance to make a real impact. If you’re passionate about driving Health and Safety, driving performance, developing people, and creating a culture where everyone can thrive, this is your opportunity to lead meaningful change. You will lead a team across Manufacturing, Technical and Despatch (Warehouse).

Key Accountabilities
What You’ll Do

Lead by example – Champion a culture of safety, ensuring full compliance with health & safety, quality and environmental standards.

  • Inspire and empower teams – Drive engagement and performance, ensuring targets are met and exceeded in a high-energy operations environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement – Identify and implement initiatives that enhance product quality, optimise efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate for success – Work cross-functionally to roll out national projects and share best practices across sites.
  • Shape strategy and culture – Play an active role in site and regional leadership, influencing key decisions and future direction.
The Right Person

Proven leadership experience within a fast-paced, results-driven manufacturing / engineering environment.

  • Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) – desirable but not essential.
  • A strong, strategic thinker with excellent project management and communication skills.
  • A motivating leader who builds high-performing teams and promotes accountability and excellence.
  • Resilient, solutions-focused, and driven by continuous improvement and meaningful results.
