Key Tasks

• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety across all manufacturing processes.
• Lead capacity planning, production scheduling, and resource allocation to meet demanding aerospace customer requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing practices, and operational excellence.
• Manage budgets and deliver P&L accountability for a £15m turnover business.
• Develop, mentor, and motivate a skilled workforce to achieve business objectives.
• Partner with senior leadership to deliver strategic growth and operational improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar leadership role within aerospace or a casting environment.
• Knowledge/experience of investment casting, complex casting, or comparable intricate processes - preferred.
• Strong leadership and team development skills with the ability to inspire at all levels.
• Demonstrable experience in capacity planning, production control, and P&L management.
• A results-driven mindset with a focus on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
