Operations & Governance Lead

Location: London

Hours: FT 2 days a week in office.

We're now looking for someone to drive operational excellence and governance across one of our key recruitment programmes - ensuring compliance, efficiency, and quality in every aspect of delivery. In this role, you'll help shape the standards, frameworks, and insights that underpin exceptional performance, ensuring our operations run seamlessly and deliver measurable impact for our clients.

The Role

As the Operations & Governance Lead, you'll own and have ultimate accountability for the frameworks, processes, and controls that underpin successful recruitment delivery including audit, compliance and vetting. You'll take ownership of operational performance, risk management, and compliance standards ensuring all recruitment activities meet both client and regulatory requirements. Working closely with account leaders, delivery teams, and clients, you'll optimise processes, monitor KPIs, and embed best practice to enhance consistency, efficiency, and service quality. This role is pivotal in maintaining operational integrity, supporting continuous improvement, and enabling teams to deliver confidently and compliantly at scale. This role will sit across every aspect of the account, with autonomy to build frameworks from the ground up with management of regular exciting projects.

Who we're looking for

You're a detail-oriented and commercially minded operations professional with strong experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or RPO environments. You combine analytical thinking with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and governance.

Essential skills include:

  • A deep understanding of recruitment processes and workflows (both high-volume and specialist)
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks, and operational risk management.
  • You'll be confident in managing audits, driving process improvements, and partnering with senior stakeholders to ensure best-in-class delivery.

Desirable experience includes:

  • Working within complex or regulated sectors
  • Leading system and process optimisation projects
  • Leveraging data to drive operational insights and improvements.
