About The Role

Caerlaverock is a stunning nature reserve situated on the north Solway coast. We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Operations & Facilities Supervisor to join our small team.

You will supervise the smooth and efficient operation of the WWT Caerlaverock operations including a self-catering holiday accommodation operation, visitor attraction buildings and an admissions process.

This post will suit someone with skills in managing all aspects of a self-catering accommodation operations, building maintenance, contract management and operational aspects of a visitor attraction who would also be inspired by working on one of the best nature reserves in Scotland.

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours, 5 days from 7, including weekend and bank holiday working.

About You

To join as Operations and Facilities Supervisor you will have experience of:

  • Property maintenance and managing contracts and contractors.
  • Managing a self-catering accommodation operation.
  • The visitor admissions process.
  • Managing staff and volunteers.
  • Managing a site to a high level of functionality and presentation.

You will also have excellent customer care skills and a driving licence is required.
