Job summary

UBT seeks an Operations Director based in Hemel Hempstead with regular UK travel to drive growth across the portfolio from pre-construction to handover. You will own cost, programme, quality, safety and the margin realised versus tendered targets.

This is a commercially literate leadership role, requiring strong CVR, contract management and multi-site delivery experience to align supply chain and internal teams with growth plans.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering UK and overseas projects in refurbishment or interior fit-out.
• Proven track record delivering multiple live projects across design, pre-construction, build and handover.
• Strong commercial acumen with margin protection, CVR, cost-to-complete forecasting and final accounts.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams including supply chain and finance.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery across the portfolio from pre-construction through to handover and final accounts.
• Own the master portfolio delivery programme with realistic sequencing and recovery actions.
• Protect margin with rigorous CVR, cost control, variations and final accounts.
• Lead multi-site delivery teams and align supply chain with growth plans while enforcing safety and quality.
