Job summary

MY Trust is seeking a Director of Operations to lead the organisation's operational services from its Olton site with travel across the West Midlands. The role reports to the Chief Executive and collaborates with the Director of Finance to deliver the strategy.

The post requires extensive senior leadership experience in housing, health, care or charitable services, strong governance, safeguarding, and financial management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience at head of service/director level or equivalent.
• Substantial involvement in tenders, funding proposals or service development.
• Experience of managing operational budgets with finance collaboration.
• Strong grasp of safeguarding and responding to operational concerns.
• Understanding of social housing regulations and Consumer Standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational services and ensure effective delivery across the Trust.
• Collaborate with CEO and Director of Finance to implement strategy.
• Provide assurance to Board on performance, compliance and risk.
• Develop and support operational management teams and leaders.
• Engage with commissioners and seek new opportunities for the Trust.
