Operations Director - Midlands - £75-85k

Are you a passionate and supportive Operations Director within the Contract Catering sector or a Senior Operations Manager looking to take that next step. Do you have a passion for providing a 5* service to all your clients, whilst also increasing sales and looking after the bottom line? If so, then I want to hear from you.

I am currently recruiting an experienced Operations Director for an independent Contract Caterer, with a fantastic reputation for fantastic food and strong client relationships. This role is not for the faint hearted – you will be responsible for 20 very different contracts, each with their own demands and business requirements. You will lead will lead and inspire a dedicated team of 2 Operations Managers across the Midlands, working across a mix of business, including both Independent and State Schools, as well as B&I.

The ideal Operations Director will have the following knowledge/experience;

  • Experience in a senior management role, within Contract Catering – ideally within B&I or the Independent education sectors
  • Fantastic stakeholder management skills
  • Managed a patch of business with a combined turnover of £15m+
  • Strong financial acumen, with real commercial drive
