Auger are looking for someone to join our Engineer Operations Team in Wallasey. This individual will not only support our nationwide team of engineers but will also act as a liaison between the personnel on the ground and our policyholders, ensuring that our team continues to deliver ‘Whatever It Takes’ for our clients, customers and communities.

The role

The successful candidate will:

  • Report directly to our Head of Field Operations.
  • Fulfil the customer‑facing responsibilities of the Engineer Operations Team.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure the smooth running and cost control of our on‑site operations.
  • Assist our Diary Coordination and Field Support teams to improve efficiency & act as a point of contact for engineers, taking updates and helping to resolve on‑site challenges.
  • Develop technical knowledge to be able to provide support with Drainage, Subsidence, Off Mains & Water Mains calls, enhancing collaboration and decision making on site.
  • Develop people management skills to be able to provide coverage for line managers in the External Operations Support Team.
