Job description

Sue Ross Recruitment are working on behalf of our client, a highly respected national training provider, to recruit an Operations Co-ordinator. This administration role will work alongside the scheduling, sales support and operations admin teams. This role will require excellent communication skills and a pro-active approach. Working directly with stakeholders and driving improvements for the department, and processes within.

Key Responsibilities for the Operations Co-ordinator / Administrator :
  • Accurately track and monitor the progress of training applications, ensuring these are processed timely, in line with internal KPIs.
  • Liaise with training centres and trainers within, to ensure a timely submission and process of paperwork, Support wider teams in auditing requirements
  • Drive improvements aligned to processes, to establish smarter ways of working
  • Maintain a forward plan of meetings to ensure that the company’s targets are met
  • Report activity within the company’s MIS system, Tracking and processing of certificates aligned to commercial training
  • Undertake any required general administration to support the operations function
  • Provide advice and guidance regarding the qualification process and associated matters
  • Provide updates to customers on training agreements as required
  • Contact learners to ensure documentation is completed accurately and in a timely fashion
Candidate Requirements for the Operations Co-ordinator :
  • Excellent customer care approach, Good telephone manner and communication skills
  • Experience with use of Microsoft word
  • Good administrative skills
  • Experience of interacting with clients and learners in a professional manner
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to follow processes
  • Enthusiasm in the workplace
  • Work well under pressure
  • The ideal candidate will ideally possess the following qualifications; however, training will be given where required :
  • Information, Advice & Guidance qualification to a minimum of Level 2
  • Educated to a minimum of GCSE grade C in English and Maths or equivalent
What’s on Offer for the Operations Co-ordinator :
  • Full-time, Permanent, 08.00am – 16.00pm, Monday to Friday, £25,500.00 per year
