Operations Analyst – Global Quantitative Investment Firm (London)

Our client, a leading global quantitative investment firm, is seeking an Operations Analyst to join their dynamic and collaborative global Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, technology-driven investment platform supporting multiple trading strategies across global markets.

The role offers exposure to front-to-back trade flows, project-based onboarding work, and cross-department collaboration with Legal, Compliance, Technology, and Portfolio Management teams. Ideal for an adaptable, detail-oriented professional looking to build or advance their career in Operations within a world-class investment environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee the onboarding of new trading teams, strategies, and products
  • Maintain and update operational workflows, databases, and project management trackers
  • Conduct QA and reconciliation checks during pilot trades and go-live phases
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Technology teams to ensure operational readiness
  • Facilitate documentation and communication with prime brokers, counterparties, and vendors
  • Support post-onboarding transition to live operations through process education and documentation
  • Handle ad-hoc operational requests from management and internal business partners
Requirements
  • 1–5 years of experience in Operations, Middle Office, or Trade Support within a financial institution, hedge fund, or trading firm
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive, team-oriented mindset
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities
  • Technical aptitude and an interest in data, systems, and automation are advantageous
