Job summary

The Range is recruiting an Operations Assistant (Part Time) for our Bridgwater store. Based at Bristol Road, the role supports the retail operation with stock handling, admin and customer order processing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to current Company policies and procedures.
• Ensure complete accuracy of Company documentation.
• Reconcile and bank store revenues accurately.
• Perform Trading Standards compliance checks.
• Utilise store email system for communications.
• Create and maintain POS/price indicators.
• Process stock receipts and arrange transfers.
• Process damaged stock and input counts.
• Record and manage stock inventory counts.
• Input inter-store transfers and stock movements.
• Ensure deadlines are met in line with Company policies.
• Process customer orders.
• Participate in new starter induction and reference checks.
• Assist with payroll procedures.
• Follow cash office procedures and controls.

As a result of our expansion plans and our continued ongoing success we are looking to appoint a part time Operations Assistant. In this role you will assist in providing an effective retail support operation.

What are we looking for?

• Ensure adherence to current Company policies and procedures
• Ensure complete accuracy of Company documentation
• Ensure the accurate reconciliation and banking of all store revenues
• Trading Standards compliance checks
• Store e-mail system usage
• Production of Point of Sale/ price indicators
• Booking on of incoming/outgoing stock
• Processing of damaged (demics) stock
• Issuing and inputting stock inventory counts
• Issuing and inputting inter-store transfers
• Ensuring store compliance with Company deadlines
• Processing customer orders
• New starter induction
• New starter reference checks
• Payroll procedures
• Adherence to cash office procedures
