About the Role

Camberley Theatre is seeking an Operations Assistant to support with the general activities within the theatre. The successful applicant will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as taking in deliveries, room set–ups, hospitality preparations for functions, light maintenance and cover for Box Office and Front of House where required. The role will also include regular duty management ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of all theatre Front of House operations during shows and events. The role is a permanent part‑time position with hours allocated on a rota basis dependent on business needs. Shifts will vary across daytime, evening, weekdays and weekends and it is imperative that applicants have good availability to accommodate this kind of shift pattern.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy variety in their work and flexibility within their shift pattern.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a polite manner with a calm and professional attitude, an interest in the arts and / or events and have good communication skills. Previous knowledge of Spektrix ticketing system and supervisory experience would be advantageous but is not essential. It is important that you can maintain good standards and work efficiently using your own initiative to solve problems where necessary. You must have good availability and flexibility in terms of working hours and a desire to deliver excellent customer service.

Offers are usually made at the lower end of the salary band allowing for progression.
