Job summary

IPS (Part of the Culina Group) is seeking an Operations & Transport Planner to coordinate goods flow, inbound/outbound planning, and transport scheduling within our UK warehouse. You will work with 3rd party transport providers to align deliveries with production plans and orders.

The role requires strong spreadsheet skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team, ensuring accurate stock and vehicle capacity management while maintaining service levels for our

• Advanced spreadsheet skills and problem analysis required.
• Excellent communication and detail-oriented approach expected.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the flow of Goods, both In and Out of the Warehouse in line with the Production Plan and Order Schedule.
• Work closely with 3rd Party Transport providers to monitor, coordinate and execute daily deliveries and collections in line with the inbound and outbound schedule.
• Load Planning and the allocation of goods to loads.
• Ensure the smooth planning of inbound stocks, outbound stocks and vehicles present do not exceed the capacity of the site.
• Ensure that scheduled delivery dates are kept updated and display accurate information on all Systems.
• Control, Ordering and Reporting of Pallets in line with the Production Plan and Order Schedule to ensure all Orders are fulfilled where possible.
• Supporting training to allow for site and team growth.
• Experienced in a Warehouse environment servicing a food related customer or service.
• Working knowledge of stock administration duties.
• Experience of working in a customer led environment with changing priorities.
• Advanced Level Spreadsheet skills and problem analysis.
• Ability to work on their own and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
