Company Overview

We are recruiting a Head of Operations and Finance Manager to join a fast-growing hospitality technology platform that empowers restaurants, bakeries and cafés to drive customer loyalty and boost revenue through digital data, ordering and CRM tools and soon integrated payment solutions, too. The business already supports over 3,000 venues.

Role Summary

The Head of Operations & Finance / COO plays a pivotal role in scaling the company to $10m ARR and international expansion. As the Head of Operations & Finance / COO you will be responsible for leading operational, and financial functions ensuring the company achieves its growth targets and operational excellence. Working closely with the CEO and CTO, this role drives execution and alignment across all departments to achieve strategic goals and maintaining a clear path to profitability.

Strategic Leadership

Partner with the CEO to continuously define, update, report on key metrics and KPIs that allow the company to successfully execute its go-to-market, growth strategies and revenue targets.

  • Oversee cross-functional alignment across Sales, Operations, Finance, and Product teams
  • Prepare the organisation for scaling from $2M to $10M ARR, including structure, roles, and processes.
  • Drive international expansion strategy together with CEO – launching at least one new market within 12 months.

Operations

  • Lead and optimise internal operations across: task management, customer support, onboarding (including self-onboarding initiatives), customer success and retention.
  • Work with the CEO and country GMs / Head of Sales to optimise all revenue / sales operations and growth activities.
  • Manage and mentor the current Operations team, partner with country GMs / Head of Sales to ensure efficient strategy execution.
  • Hiring planning and onboarding processes for new commercial and operations hires
  • Collaborate with the CEO and CTO on new product developments — including budgeting, prioritisation, and go-to-market strategies.

Product & Innovation

  • Oversee product readiness, and commercial go-to-market.
  • Collaborate with CTO and CEO on feature development, compliance, and revenue growth.
  • Support R&D initiatives and Smart Innovation Grant reporting for AI-related projects.

Finance & Administration

  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual investor reporting, ensuring visibility across key metrics (P&L, CAC, LTV, Churn, NRR, etc.).
  • Lead budget planning, forecasting, and cost control alongside the CEO and CTO.
  • Coordinate with accountants on HMRC filings, payroll, HR matters, and R&D tax credits.
  • Oversee legal workflows with accountants and lawyers regarding investor documentation, share issuance, and corporate filings.

  • Lead, inspire, and help develop high-performing teams across markets.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.
