Job Description

A high performing, large AUM, private credit fund are looking to make a newly created operations hire into their boutique, yet expanding London office.

The newly created hire will closely support the Operations Manager, taking ownership of a wide variety of tasks away from her (as her role becomes more focused on project and strategy work), including treasury (FX hedging / cash & fund liquidity management), risk management, trade booking, loan closing & fund onboarding responsibilities. Following a successful transition period, the hire will also be tasked with having oversight of the firm’s external administrator. The role extends to being cross-trained to take on some tasks in finance and compliance + project work from both the COO and CIO (which will often be extremely varied).

Qualifications / Experience

Candidates should roughly have 2-5yrs experience in a hedge fund, private markets or banking operations / middle office role. Candidates should have expertise in ‘credit’. A strong academic record and advanced excel skills are a requirement.

Compensation

The role will pay a £70-80k base salary. The firm pay high-performing, non-investment staff bonuses that make up a very large % of base.
