The Role

The Operations Analyst sits within the Business Management & Finance team and supports the Head of Business Management. The role provides coordination and delivery support across people and stakeholder engagement activities, helping the wider Asset Management Technology team operate effectively and maintain momentum on its priorities.

The role has a particular focus on internal communications, people initiatives, leadership team support, operational coordination and process improvement. Working across Asset Management Technology and with stakeholders across the wider business, the Operations Analyst will help organise activity, produce clear and high-quality materials, maintain plans and actions, and ensure work is progressed in a timely and well-structured way.

This role is for someone who has developed a strong foundation in a professional working environment and is ready to broaden their business management and operational experience. The successful candidate will be proactive, organised and comfortable taking ownership of clearly defined tasks and workstreams, with appropriate guidance. They will bring strong communication skills, sound judgement, attention to detail and a collaborative approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and delivery of internal team communications, helping to ensure messages are clear, engaging, timely and aligned across channels.
  • Coordinate communications from Asset Management Technology to the wider business, adapting content and tone for different audiences and formats.
  • Draft and produce a range of high-quality materials, including team updates, presentations, briefing notes, announcements and content for collaboration channels.
  • Maintain communication and activity plans, working with contributors to gather information, confirm next steps and keep delivery on track.
  • Support activities that strengthen colleague engagement, inclusion, recognition, wellbeing, learning and the overall working environment for the wider team.
  • Help organise team events, engagement sessions, workshops and other colleague-focused initiatives, including logistics, communications, materials and follow-up actions.
  • Provide practical support to the leadership team, including coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and materials, capturing decisions and actions, and following up with owners.
  • Provide structured support for priority initiatives, taking ownership of defined activities or workstreams, coordinating stakeholders, maintaining plans and actions, monitoring progress and escalating risks or issues when required.
  • Review existing processes, identify opportunities to simplify or improve them, and work with colleagues to introduce practical solutions.
  • Build effective working relationships across Asset Management Technology and the wider business, helping information and activity flow between teams.
  • Respond flexibly to changing priorities and provide broader operational support to the Business Management & Finance team as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Relevant experience gained in a professional working environment, ideally within operations, business management, communications, project coordination or a similar role.
  • Evidence of taking ownership of tasks or defined pieces of work and following them through to completion, with appropriate support and guidance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing clear and accurate materials such as presentations, emails, updates, meeting papers or briefing notes.
  • Good organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage several activities, deadlines and stakeholders at the same time.
  • Experience supporting meetings, events, projects, communications or colleague engagement activities, including preparation, coordination and follow-up.
  • A proactive approach, with the confidence to use initiative, ask questions and identify when input, support or escalation is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • The ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues at different levels and across different teams.
  • Confidence working independently on clearly defined activities while remaining comfortable seeking direction where needed.
  • Competence in Microsoft 365 tools, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint. Experience with other collaboration or planning tools would be beneficial.
  • An interest in using AI and automation tools to improve processes, increase efficiency and support the production of high-quality outputs.
  • An interest in asset management, technology or financial services is desirable, although prior industry experience is not essential.
  • A collaborative, adaptable and positive approach, with curiosity and a willingness to learn and contribute across a varied range of activities.

  • Communications and materials are clear, accurate, appropriately tailored and delivered on time.
