Job description
Overview

Contract type: Fixed term.
Duration: 18 months.
Working pattern: Full time.
Location: based in Darwen.
Hours per week: 37.5.
Dates that interviews will take place: Throughout November.
Salary: £24,932 (+ up to 3% bonus).

About The Role
  • You will be working at various locations across the North West. Depots include Saltayre, Blackpool, Redscar, Darwen and Pendle. Your main work location will be Darwen, Lower Eccleshill Road, BB3 0RP.
  • You will be working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am - 6pm; flexible start and end times can be discussed.
  • Role includes responsibilities on weighbridge operations where required.
What will I be doing as an Operations Administrator?
  • Provide comprehensive support for the smooth running of general, contract and management systems administration.
  • Promote good working practice and positive employee relations by administering effective relationships internally and within the wider business.
  • Embodies the Company Values and exhibit them through daily interaction with the team.
  • Promote a safety-conscious attitude towards work.
  • Assist in managing communication throughout the site.
  • Ensure timely and effective reporting of incidents and events, ensuring that protocols are put in place.
  • Provide advice, guidance and support to ensure day-to-day activities are conducted with consistent methods, processes and clear instruction.
  • Implement standardized systems of work to ensure efficient administration activities.
  • Support the COUPA system, including management of ordering, payment and invoicing processes for goods and services.
  • Support invoice query resolution.
  • Assist in producing letters, minutes and reports for the Senior Management team.
  • Assist in organising internal events and meetings.
  • Support weighbridge operations as required across multiple depots.
What are the requirements?
  • Experience in an administrative position; proficiency with Microsoft packages is desirable.
  • You must have a driving license and own transport due to travel between sites.
  • Enthusiastic and responsible approach; able to contribute to the dedicated team.
  • You will be trained on weighbridge operations and may be required to support weighbridge across multiple depots.
