Job summary

Sofina Foods Europe is seeking an Operations Accountant to join the Fraserburgh site leadership team. You will deliver timely financial reporting, partner with operational leaders, and drive performance through analysis and strong controls.

The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting and improving site financial processes, with a hands-on approach to cost management and capital project evaluation. Based onsite five days a week.

Qualifications

• Qualified finance professional with strong financial control and commercial insight.
• Experience delivering timely financial reporting and business partnering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver monthly financial reporting in line with group deadlines.
• Partner with operational teams to provide financial insight for decisions.
• Lead analysis of labour, yield, cost performance and site KPIs.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity, controls, and audit readiness.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Monitor working capital, stock and cost performance; identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare business cases for capital investment decisions.
• Drive improvements in reporting, processes and site performance.
• Develop and implement new reporting tools and procedures.
• Coach and support finance team members.
