Job summary

A leading financial services organization in the UK seeks an Operational Resilience Manager to promote and embed operational resilience principles across the Group. You will design and deliver training, support cultural change, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance. Join us as an Operational Resilience Manager, Culture & Training
  • In this newly created specialist role, you’ll be providing the knowledge, skills and support required to embed Operational Resilience across NatWest Group, driving a positive Operational Resilience culture, and designing and delivering Group and specialist training
  • We’ll rely on your subject matter expertise on delivering cultural change, designing training and embedding regulatory change to drive positive outcomes across NWG. You will utilise knowledge of UK operational resilience concepts and principles, and how they influence the design of business services and their supporting resources to ensure the stability of our operations

What you’ll do

As an Operational Resilience Manager, you’ll be partnering with stakeholders across the Group to support embedding Operational Resilience principles into our culture and support our colleagues ongoing learning through designing and delivering training.

You’ll leverage your experience as a people and change specialist to influence and deliver key messages across a range teams across NWG, at all levels of seniority, that promote positive behaviours to support our operational resilience strategy.

You’ll also be:

  • Working with stakeholders to provide guidance on how to further embed operational resilience practices set out by the UK regulators in BAU processes.
  • Collaborating with your team to provide insights into best practice and using analysis, experience, and judgement to support ongoing maturing of the Group approach to operational resilience
  • Acting as a trusted adviser to establish strong relationships with business and functional leads
  • Supporting the development and delivery of Group-wide and bespoke training to support an ongoing increase in knowledge at all levels
The skills you’ll need

We’re looking for someone with excellent management skills and experience, and the ability to motivate others while managing conflicting priorities. You'll have strong influencing, communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to operate effectively at all levels.

You’ll also have a good understanding of financial services, and experience in regulatory change, including operational resilience.

In addition to this, you’ll demonstrate:

  • The ability to develop a newly created role, delivering key activities across NWG
  • Good knowledge of delivering cultural change in large organisations, particularly in financial services
  • Knowledge of key technology services, service delivery and management disciplines, and delivering against UK operational resilience regulatory requirements PRA/FCA
  • Experience of designing and delivering technical regulatory training to a wide range of audiences
  • Experience of identifying where strategic activities should be focused to deliver the greatest impact across a large and diverse organisation
