Job summary

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is seeking an Operational Management Information Developer within the Working Age Services Directorate to turn data into actionable insight. You will create performance measures and dashboards, working with Operations, Digital teams and senior stakeholders to inform decisions affecting millions of customers.

This role focuses on delivering analytical products using Power BI and SQL, leading improvement projects, and communicating complex findings

The Working Age Data and Performance Team sits at the heart of DWP's Digital Transformation Group, providing the analysis, performance insight and resource planning that help drive continuous improvement across Working Age services. Working with Operations, Digital teams and senior stakeholders, including Directors and Ministers, you will use data and insight to understand performance, identify opportunities for improvement and support evidence based decision making. You'll contribute to the development of performance measures and process indicators, test hypotheses, evaluate outcomes and help shape data driven initiatives that improve services for our customers. • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational performance across Universal Credit and Labour Market services.
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders, to influence decisions and deliver complex outcomes.
