Job summary

Prevail Partners Limited is seeking an experienced Intelligence Analyst to join our Operational Intelligence team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will support the delivery of high-quality, insight-driven intelligence to enable clients to make informed decisions and achieve real-world outcomes.

You will work across the full intelligence lifecycle within a fast-paced consultancy, integrating quickly into the team, delivering high-quality products with minimal supervision from day one.

Qualifications

• Formal intelligence or analytical training from a recognised programme.
• Experience conducting intelligence collection and analysis in government, security, or corporate environments.
• Demonstrable experience producing intelligence reporting for operational teams or senior decision-makers.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for manipulating large datasets.
• Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI to communicate findings.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking with evidence-based assessments.
• Excellent written communication with minimal supervision.
• Confidence creating briefing materials for stakeholders.
• High IT literacy with Microsoft Office and analytics/visualisation software.
• Understanding of the intelligence cycle, collection planning and requirements management.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Awareness of current affairs and security issues relevant to the role.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex intelligence tasks, delivering actionable intelligence.
• Collaborate to deliver products aligned to client priorities and collection plans.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, translating requirements into outputs.
• Collect, evaluate and analyse information from open-source and commercial sources.
• Produce clear intelligence reports, assessments, and briefings, including visuals.
• Deliver confident verbal briefs to clients and colleagues.
• Apply recognised methodologies to produce evidence-based assessments.
• Conduct peer reviews to ensure analytical rigour.
• Use link analysis and data visualisation to identify trends.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and tools.
• Maintain information management and data security standards.
• Learn and use specialist intelligence collection and reporting tools.
