Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is offering an Opex (Operations Excellence) Internship in Market Drayton, Shropshire. The 13‑month fixed term placement starts July 2027, with standard daytime hours, Monday to Friday.

You’ll work with site leadership and the central OPEX team on focused improvement projects to boost efficiency. Ideal candidates are university students aiming for a 2:1 or above, studying Chemical Engineering or a related technical field, with a UK driving licence and UK residency.

Qualifications

• Must be a university student on track for a 2:1 or above.
• Studying Chemical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Interest in process optimisation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Drive production improvements and process optimisation at the site.
• Collaborate with Site Leadership Teams and the Central Operational Excellence team.
• Coach front-line operators in process optimisation techniques.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and drive performance gains.
• Work on collaborative group projects with other placement students.
