A leading insurance company in Norwich seeks a part-time Operational Cost Manager to oversee financial reporting and cost management. The role requires data analysis and effective communication skills, allowing collaboration with various teams to achieve accurate forecasts and insights. Salary is £35,000 pro-rated for 21 hours a week, with excellent benefits including an 8% bonus opportunity and a generous pension scheme. Flexible working arrangements are available.

As this is a part-time role (21 hours per week), the salary will be pro-rated based on your working hours.
Contract type: 12-month secondment

A bit about the job:
You’ll be part of the Home Claims team, helping us understand and manage our operational costs. Your work will support how we plan, track, and forecast expenses, making sure we stay on budget and spot opportunities to improve. You’ll lead the quarterly forecasting process, building it from the ground up to reflect both current business needs and future growth. With a thoughtful and thorough approach, you’ll help identify key risks and opportunities, turning financial data into clear insights that guide decisions across the team. This role is key to making sure our financial reporting is accurate, timely, and easy to understand.
